Aloysius is 7 years old, he is a working family dog and a proven sire. He comes from a very strong working pedigree on his father's side and show line on his mother's. He has a beautiful and muscular physique and is in immaculate physical condition. He stands 24" at the shoulder. He has one small white fleck on his chest and a 3/4 docked tail.

The rarity of his solid black colouring makes him stand out in any environment. He has produced some fantastic pups in liver and white, black and white, solid liver and solid black.

He has had a gun over him at military shoots for two seasons and has performed very well. He quarters immaculately, is rigid on point and his retrieve is solid. Training him was easy and it was very enjoyable to see him come to life in the field. He is a joy to work with and the envy of other shoot members. He will work alongside labradors and spaniels on driven shoots or alone on walked up boundary days. As well as shooting he is a regular on long runs or mountain biking rides, where he will happily run alongside the bikes all day.

Aloysius is a gorgeous family dog and has a very special relationship with his owners 5 year old daughter. He has a lovely temperament, is gentle yet full of energy.

Aloysius has been fully health tested. He has a exceptionally low hip score (3/2 =5) and no eye problems.
